Calling for 2024 NGA motions

ALGA is calling for councils to submit motions for the 2024 National General Assembly of Local Government (NGA), which will be held from 2 – 4 July at the National Convention Centre in Canberra.

Motions are due by 29 March 2024 and must be lodged online.

The theme for this year’s NGA will be “Building Community Trust”. ALGA is seeking motions that align with this theme and identify opportunities for new federal programs and policies that will support councils to build stronger communities.
